Awakened And Betrayed - Ivy Asher

I liked this book much better than the first one simply because I felt it was more complexed story and Vienna finally didn't feel so fake to me. In the first book although she was swearing she was taking everything in without a question and was pulled wherever and whenever someone wanted her to do something and in this book she finally starts to think and analyse things on her own and make up her own decisions based on facts that she has and not someone told her.

I really liked this book and am waiting for more

SPOILER ALERT!

I love it!

Gypsy Origins - Kristy Cunning

Okay, so so far this is the best book in this series!

I love the way we learn more about Violet and what tape of monster she is o rather where her monster originated from because I'm still not really sure about the whole species thing but we learn more and more about Arion, Vance, Emit and Damien's past and I'm really intrigued.

I have to say that in this book Emit was my favorite simply because so far he was the only one of the guys who had sex with Violet and didn't over analyse it later on like Vance or Damien did and even though those two got their shot at a manege with Violet in this instalment, Emit still is my favourite for now.

Arion is batshit crazy but thanks to the background story I kind of understand him a little more but I'm still not clear what he really wants in the end and I suspect that he doesn't know it either.

I can't wait for the next book to come out ad am really happy that there will be more books to come because I love Violet and the guys and I don't want to say goodbye to them just yet

Angel Stakes: An Amber Farrell Novel - Mark Henwick, Lauren Sweet

Okay, I have to say that Angel Stakes is the best installment of Bite Back series yet. Like all of previews books, Angel Stakes is full of action but this time I felt it was more spaced and I didn't feel like I had to play catch up with the plot. There were times for action and times for a brief break for laughs.
The problem with human trafficking in Angel Stakes is a real thing and unfortunately it can happen to anyone and anywhere. Doesn't matter what country you are from there will always be predators waiting in a dark. This book shines a light on that problem and despite being urban fantasy it shouldn't be treated lightly.
In regards of Amber and her trauma hidden in a strongbox I kind of figured it out in book one when Amber was talking to Top but still knowing it and reading the full scope what happened is totally a different thing. What has been done to her is simply horrible and unfortunately it happens more often then we know. I don't know what is happening with our society nowadays but more and more people turn to violence and think it is okay to hurt another person for fun but I'm coming off topic here.
I also figured out who was on another tape that Amber got a long time ago but still figuring out and having it confirmed was still a shock.
Angels Stakes is a really good book and I can't wait for another installment in this series.

Wild Card - Mark Henwick

Okay so to be fair I would give this book 3,5 star simply because I knew from the start who the killer was but other the that everything was good. The plot was full of action and I really liked it but sometimes I just couldn't keep up with the changes, I mean fro one crises to another but I think that is how it was supposed to be, Amber didn't have a time to take a breath why should we :)

A Court of Frost and Starling by Sarah J, Maas

A Court of Frost and Starlight - Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Frost and Starling is just a beautiful book. To be honest before I started reading it I was convince that it's going to be a simple short story so I wasn't prepared for what followed. This book is a beautiful continuation of Rhys and Feyre's story about what is happening to them now after the war but it is also setting the plot for the books to come.

If you think that this will be a simple plot book that has a beginning, middle and ending you are so WRONG. The beginning for this book are previews books, the middle are the feelings that consume our favorite characters and the ending is a promise of the things to come in the next books. Some people make think it's boring but for me it was a pure beauty. I lost the count of how many times I cried while reading it and how many times I smiled.

This book proved once again why I admire Sarah J. Maas as an author and I can really recommend this book to averyone who like me, fell in love with Rhys and Feyre

Inked Destiny

Inked Destiny - Jory Strong To be honest I struggled while reading this book. The story on its own is good but there were too many interpretations in a plot. I understand that it is an erotic novel but for me the sex scenes only got in a way of a plot that was actually really good.

Written in Red

Written in Red - Anne Bishop So okay the truth is I don't have words to describe this book. It is such a good story and the characters just speak to me.

Meg Corbyn isn't my usual choice of a female character, she is not sassy, bad-ass, guns blazing, sexy thing. She is more pure. She has a child's wonder about her and maybe because of that she is so much compelling. Because she never saw an outside world before she looks at things, people and Others differently and is able to find purpose for every living creature and not blame them for they nature.

Simon Wolfgard on the other hand is my typical male character: dark, sexy, leader and ruled by instinct rather than logic. He is very protective of his people and as soon as Meg comes into his live he considers her one of his pack and doesn't allow any harm to come to her.

I just simply love this book and I really didn't see it coming because like I said it's not my usual cup of tea but the story has that something, it will grab your heart and squeeze it and it takes a while for the grip to loosen up and finally let go.

A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas

A Court of Mist and Fury - Sarah J. Maas
Wow, just freaking WOW. I love this book, I really do. I wasn't so happy with the first book in this series, but this one, I have no words to express how good this book is. You people just have to read it and find out for yourselves.

This book is so much more than I expected it to be. So much more. I love the way Feyre is growing into her own person, how she works out her issues and finds friends in this new for her world. Friends who aren't crippling her but give her wings to fly.

Did I mention that I freaking love this book? I did? Then just read it :)

Will someone believe Margot and help her find Bethany and Katie or will she be forced to do it on her own? Read and find out :)

My Thoughts

The story on it's own isn't so bad. To be honest I would say it is good and captivating but... Yes there are to many 'but's' in this book and absurdity of procedure and the lack of proper way to handle mentally unstable person that it irritated me to no end. I would say that this book was more fiction thancriminal and the worst thing for me was that at the very beginning I've figured out the big secret that the author revels almost at the end of the book. So for me it was a bust but it isn't to say that this book doesn't have some good merits. So I do recommend it but please be aware hat you as a rider can sometimes get bored.

My Thoughts

I do love Connie Suttle's books and this one is no exception. The world the author creates is so unique and so touchable at the same time that it is easy for me to loose myself inside the story and sometimes hold my breath or shout at some of the characters.

Finder is a great book to read and to just let down your hair and enjoy. But whatever you do, just remember that you will never end it with just reading one book. If you start any of Connie Suttle's series you'll going to end up with reading them all. I highly recommend it :)
