Yesterday I've finished Touched. I have to say that I started reading it, only because it was free on Amazon and someone recommend it to me, but the deeper into the story I've read, the more I've liked it.

Touched it's a story about Psychic ,Marnie Baranuik, who like other of her 'kind', are really DaySitters for Revenants (Vampires). DaySitter is a person who provides her/his revenant with blood, and takes care of him in the daylight hours. To become a DaySitter a human and a revenant create an irrevocable bond, thanks to which, the DaySitter gets some of the talents of the revenant, like premonition, or seeing things thanks to touching objects, or becoming an empath.

Marnie is not perfect, actually she's not perfect and she knows it. The story takes place after she "screwed up" the FBI investigation and due to her failure, she retires from the agency which retails psychics to law law enforcement, and she and her revenant, Harry, secludes themselves in mountain lodge in Colorado. That is until the FBI’s preternatural crimes unit tracks her down for her inside with for a local case. Marnie has to face her past and start to pick her life back on track.

Marnie is smart, sassy and sharp-witted. She has so much inner strength, even if she doesn't realize it, that you just fall in love with her. Her revenat, Harry, is an Englishman with bondage fetish, and together they create a comical duo.

Great read, lots of action, great witty comments and a sure must read for everyone who like Paranormal Mysteries.
